3 Month Trial

Want to know if our vegetables are right for you?

Get the vegetables with the trial EAT for 3 months for CHF 320.

And this is how it works:

  • Fill out the registration form and select the “Schnupper-EAT” (and no other option).
  • Select your desired depot and the starting month of your trial EAT in the form.
  • You will be informed by e-mail when you can pick up your first vegetables. If your order arrives too close to the end of the month, you may have to wait another month.
  • For 3 months, you will collect your vegetables from the depot every week on Friday/Saturday and will also do 2 assignments on the farm during this time.
  • Before the end of the trial period, you will be asked whether you want to extend your EAT to the whole season.
    • §If you do not extend, you will receive an invoice for CHF 320.
      OR
    • If you extend, the EAT will be calculated as if you had taken a regular EAT instead of a trial EAT. See full table for EAT during the year.
If you extend, you will need 1 share certificate per EAT at CHF 250 each (refund after leaving).

Questions & answers about the trial EAT

Do I also have to do assignments with the trial EAT?

Yes, the assignments are part of the CSA (community supported agriculture). With the trial EAT you also do 2 assignments, whereby a Saturday is recommended for the first assignment and on the second you can take a closer look at a more specific job, for example.

Do I also have to subscribe to a share certificate for the trial EAT?

No. In order to keep the administrative effort to a minimum, the share certificate is only required once you have definitely decided on an EAT.

Can I extend the trial EAT or take out another one later?

It is not possible to take out a taster EAT again.

If you want to continue after the trial EAT, you can only do so with a regular EAT, which runs for a whole year according to the principle of solidarity farming.

Can I take several taster EATs at the same time?

Yes, one EAT is enough for 1-2 people, depending on how many vegetables you eat.

Can I cancel or interrupt the taster EAT prematurely?

No. The taster EAT cannot be refunded.

Why does the trial EAT cost more than a regular EAT?

There are more vegetables in summer and fall than in winter and spring. The price takes these seasonal differences into account.
